Acropolis of Pergamum

Acropolis of Pergamum is one of the major Hellenistic cultural and political centers of the ancient city of Pergamum-what is today Bergama in Izmir Province, Turkey.

Highly renowned for its rich architecture, like public buildings, theaters, and temples. Pergamum itself was also famous for its contributions to the arts and medicine, as well as its famous library, which ranked as the second-best after that in Alexandria.

Acropolis of Pergamum was both the center of the city and the symbol of its might and cultural influence, a wonder of classical Greek architecture.
