Izmir Clock Tower
One of the most recognizable landmarks of Izmir, Turkey, is Izmir Clock Tower, located at Konak Square. It was designed by the French architect Raymond Charles Péré and completed in 1901.
It has a quite Ottoman architectural character. The clock tower has also become an emblem for the city and one of the favorite historical places in the city.
