Osman Ghazi Tomb
The tomb of Osman Gazi is located in the Tophane neighborhood of Bursa and is a grave of Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman empire.
The original building was destroyed by an earthquake in the 19th century and the current building in an Ottoman revival style is a later reconstruction.
The tomb is situated on a hill with a view of the old city and by its presence symbolically consecrates Bursa that the first Ottoman capital was and hence it keeps the memory of the ruling house origins.
