Tigris River

Tigris River is one of the two main rivers that cross the land of Mesopotamia, the other being the Euphrates. The management of these rivers involved the countries as Turkey, Syria, and Iraq where the rivers flowing through.

The vast human population relies on this particular river for their means of livelihood through agriculture and water. This river had been the pinnacle point in manning the growth of ancient civilization, such as the one over Sumer, Assyria, and Babylon throughout the history.

Despite the setbacks in construction of dams and water management, the Tigris still finds phenomenal use in this area to date.
